The missionary that taught my parents the gospel came by today for a quick visit. He travels all the time so he comes quite frequently. He is a very important person to our family and always will be. My mom had many wonderful examples of "Mormons" growing up. (The Branscome girls) My dad had never really had any experiences with Mormons and didn't really know much about them. Judy Branscome, one of my moms best friends in High School sent the missionaries in this area a referral card to go see my mom and dad. (So she takes full credit for their membership!) The missionaries showed up at my parents door and shared the gospel with them. Elder Reynolds was the perfect missionary for my parents, especially my dad. They hit it off instantly and became really good friends. Everything the missionaries taught my parents made sense and filled a gap that nothing else could. I will forever be thankful for Elder Reynolds and his willingness to go on a mission. It was no accident that he ended up in Williamsburg, Va. We will always have a special place in our heart for "Elder" Reynolds, our families FAVORITE missionary!
{We went over to visit tonight after Hen's baseball practice, the kids were so tired. We had to wake up Jack to take the picture-as you can see he is still asleep}
Last year when Reynolds came to visit he brought his mom. The pictures below are from last year.
