Flashback/Lorain County Fair

One of the things we love to go to in Ohio is the Lorain County Fair.  We started going because Emily was in 4-H.  So, Emily and Grandma and Grandpa Teaman  would set up camp for a week and we would go back and forth to the fair and watch Emily either ride Jay, sell meat pen rabbits or show her chickens!  We always had fun walking around and seeing all the animals.  The pig races were a favorite and one time the kids even road a camel!  One year, May even got to show Blue, Grandma Teamans mini horse.  Grandma taught May in just one day what she needed to do to show Blue.  She set up cones in the pasture and practiced stopping and turning. They even made Blue a cute little sign with his name on it to hang on his stall.  Showing Blue is probably one of Maylons favorite memories.  She loved it!

Hen and Jack in their Fair shirts.  Each year Grandma Teaman would by them each one.  They've had a red, green and blue one.  Each one they have worn out!
Cookie Contest!  I think Brianna got 1st!  Hallie helped me make peppermint, coconut and pecan cookies.  Sounds gross but they are actually pretty good!

Just hanging out on a bull, thats all.  The guy that owned this bull is the guy we got Bones from.

Riding around the fair in a wagon.  It doesn't get any better!

We entered a watermelon contest.  We all lost-but the watermelon was delicious!

Now that Emily is graduated and at BYU we will probably not go to the fair as much-but it sure was fun while it lasted!
