A couple weeks ago we decided to go play in the gym at church. Its been so cold outside so we've been cooped up in the house. So we needed to move around a little! The kids had fun running around and playing. Later, Adrian and Tony surprised us and showed up to play a little b-ball. We played knock out which is where you stand in a line and try to make a shot before the person behind you. It was so fun! We also got to see that Adrian is quite the baller! She was actually one of the top 3 left in the game! I'm glad they stopped by to hang out. Adrian makes everything fun.
Later that day, the girls sang the National Anthem for the William and Mary basketball game. They sang with there school choir. They did fabulous, and it was a great game! William and Mary beat JMU by like 20 points. Grandma and Grandpa Jones came to the game too, and even tried to sneak candy in for the kids but grandma got busted and they had to take her purse to the car. It was a nice thought! After the game we met the team and got all their autographs. The kids thought that was pretty cool! May was impressed that the star player told them what a great job the choir did. Later she said, "mom, that was really nice of him to tell us we did good. He was the only one that said that." She thought that was very nice, especially since he was the star player.
Wow, how cool is that!!
