Christmas in OHIO 2013

We started off our drive to Ohio later than expected {whats new} so ended up staying in probably the nastiest motel on the planet in Breezwood, Pa. I really did check for bed bugs and we did not use their pillows.

We had 2 full size beds so Tom, May and I slept sideways so we would all fit and Hallie, Hen, and Jack made it work as best they could!

When we arrived Sunday afternoon we went over to Aunt Dawns for Jackson's 18th birthday. The kids love Jackson and think he is the coolest guy ever! It could be because he looks just like Justin Bieber. He is so good with them and always takes time to play with them and torment them. They love it! Brandy made his Toy Story cake!

Let the Cookie Making Begin!

The kids loved helping and of course, taste testing!

Christmas Morning

On Christmas morning the kids woke up really early! But... they had to wait for grandpa Teaman and Delores to get there at 9:30 to open presents. They handled the news pretty well. But, it turned out grandpa was having a hard time getting going that morning so we let the kids have at it since we didn't know when they were going to come. Afterward we had a nice breakfast with all the missionaries serving in their ward. There were 8 of them. They gave a nice spiritual thought and sang some Christmas songs to all of us. It was awesome. I was making eggs in the kitchen but I could here them pretty good. The kids loved all their gifts and loved being together to open them. The missionaries helped Jack put together his new lego set. He thought that was pretty cool! He even pointed out the missionary that helped him the next Sunday.

Quaker Steak and Lube
Maylon ate 16 wings!
One of the kids presents was to go to Quaker Steak and Lube and eat wings. They love wings! We gave them little gift certificates to open Christmas morning that Tom made on the computer. They were so excited! Maylon asked for bbq sauce for Christmas...she is her dads child!

Cleveland Zoo

One day during Christmas break we went to the zoo. It was a beautiful day and the kids had a blast. Perfect thing to do on a pretty day! Thank you Gary for all the wonderful pictures:)

Burger King With Grandpa Teaman and Delores
We had a nice visit and no one got thrown up on. Always a plus!

A little history...
Last time we visited we all got the stomach flu. However we didn't know we were going to have it and one day went over to visit Grandpa Teaman and Delores. While visiting, Henley started to complain of a stomach ache but I thought maybe he had gotten car sick or was hungry or something. That was not the case. Unfortunately, Hen couldn't make it to the trash can in time and he threw up all over Delores's friend that was visiting her. I have never been so embarrassed. Thankfully, the lady was very sweet about it and even still wanted to go out to eat.

Teamans vs. DeLeons
We had some little Michael Jordans among us!

Ps.Tom played too. He took a time out to take some pics. Thanks, Tom!

Happy New Year!
2014

We had such a great time spending time with our Ohio family. It is always bitter sweet when we leave. Happy to get home but sad to leave them. The cousins spend every second together and always pick up right where they left off. Almost like no time has past at all. This year Brianna is getting baptised so we will go for that in February. Its also Grandpa Teaman's 90th birthday! We always have something to look forward to! Thanks for a great Christmas! We made so many fun memories.

Happy New Year!
