Tom kicked off Thanksgiving Day with a little football. He took May, Hen and Jack while I stayed home with Hallie and watched the parade.
Dad moved all the furniture out of the living room and brought in tables and chairs. He is very good at making everything look nice. He made this centerpiece below for the center of the table!
Mom spent 2 days cooking and making most of the meal this year. Michael and Amanda and Ryan and Katherine both spent the day with their in-laws, and Robyn and Christian stayed home this year. For the past few years we have eaten in the barn, but this year we could all fit in the house, which was nice because it was freezing outside! {upper 30's} Adrian couldn't make it because she was sick. We sure missed her! The Lillians, our good friends from PA, braved the traffic and drove down that morning. They made it right on time! The meal was delicious! Especially the collards, which for some reason Jack ate 6 plates full!
Thanks mom and dad for a very lovely dinner! Next year, we might even let you sit down and eat! {They didn't have anywhere to sit}
