A Nice Sunday

Today we went on a nature walk at Freedom Park.  We need to go there more often!  We had a nice day at church and enjoyed testimony meeting.  The testimonies were mostly on missionary work.  We decided to fast as a family {for the first time} for missionary opportunities.  So hearing all the testimonies really helped get us motivated!  We'll see!

Tonight we had dinner with Grandma Moss.  We decided that the first Sunday of every month we will have dinner together.  We had mash potatoes {real ones} corn, brussel sprouts, country fried steak {the frozen ones} and country gravy.  It was very filling and delicious- especially after a fast.
Laura and Tom came by to see the baby goats mom and dad brought home tonight and she had  made some really good white chocolate chip cookies with macadamia nuts and coconut. So we had those for dessert!  The kids played in the barn and held the baby goats.  They are so cute!  Riley named one "Happy Dough"after her favorite ice cream and Grandma Moss got to name the other one.  I think it is going to be "Oreo" since she is Oreo Grandma.

The End.

Ps.  We were early for church today.  We sat in the pews!!

  1. The leaves have been beautiful here too! Dad's been out taking tons of pictures. Glad you all got out and about to enjoy them. Heavenly Father has certainly made us a beautiful world.
