Haunted Hay Ride at York River State Park

We put May's arm in a scarf because she had just fallen a couple hours before the hay ride and broke it.

After the Hayride they zonked out!  We went on the 9:30 one so it would be dark.  We didn't realize how scary it was going to be!  We went with the Cottles and all of our kids were on the ground of the trailer at our feet snuggled together and scared to death.  At one point Laura told the actors to "back off, we have scared kiddos here".  It was funny!  Tom made one of the actors laugh and that helped too.  Then the kids could see they were just acting and that they weren't real.  They must not have been that scared though because the older kids are going again this Saturday with grandma and grandpa and Adrian!  They are all so excited to see Adrian's reaction.  Wish I could be there to see it too!
